On the morning I shot this I went out with the determination to find something with leading lines. I had just been looking through Brook Tyler's photo gallery, studying the way he finds a visual path in his compositions and told myself, 'today you are going to really look and find the lines.  (Brook is a very fine photographer on Flickr).

Well, it's all well and good to say 'do it' but then actually stalking the countryside was beginning to try Norm's patience a little. Usually when I set myself a 'mission' I go out and about on my own but on that particular Sunday morning we were both out. Finally, he pointed at this tree and said, 'at least get that.' 

I'm commandeering him more often. :-)
